[Movies] Marvel Hires New Writer For Iron Man 2

Tropic Thunder writer will write sequel...

Despite the massive success of Iron Man, Marvel has decided to change writers for the sequel. Actor/filmmaker Justin Theroux will pen the sequel. Theroux wrote the Ben Stiller comedy, Tropic Thunder.

The sequel is due out in April of 2010. Marvel is still in negotiations with director Jon Favreau and star Robert Downey, Jr. to get them back for the new film.

A large part of Iron Man was ad-libbed anyways, so all you need is somebody who can script a knock-down, drag-out, third act battle.
